Manufacturing Environments
Humidification
is rapidly gaining importance in many industries. The requirements of
modern high-speed production techniques and increases in internal plant
heat loads often result in the need for better control of humidity
levels in the plant environment.
Other factors can effect humidity levels too: upgrading manufacturing
equipment can lower the humidity in a plant because modern machines
often generate more heat.
Many industries face stringent indoor air quality standards. Meeting
these standards can often require bringing more outside air into the
plant. If this outside air is dry or cold the result can be much lower
indoor humidity levels.
Existing plant humidification systems are often incapable of meeting
these increased demands. But adding more capacity to inherently
inefficient humidification systems can be very costly.
The TrueFog system is an effective alternative to traditional methods of
humidification.

Fog Modules / Pump Assemblies
TrueFog offers a wide range of pump modules that have been designed to operate trouble free and continuously with minimum maintenance, simple lubrication procedures will help insure the pumps long and productive life.
Utilizing the most advanced engineering and design features in the fluid handling industry, enables us to provide a fog module with enhanced reliability. smoother running and quieter than similar systems. Additionally, the motors used with our pumps draw less amperage than comparative models, providing lower operating costs and needing less maintenance. TrueFog can provide a wide range of pumps and control options. These can be either 50 or 60 Hz., 110 or 220 volts, single or three phase. We can provide systems with any voltages utilized worldwide.
Electrical systems are tailored to the specifications of the user. In addition to the standard electrical pump modules we can manufacture gasoline or diesel powered units, self start and auto shut off options are also available. We can also supply air powered units for those situations where fire protection and explosion proof situations arise.

Low Pressure Safety Switch
Pump units can include an adjustable low pressure water safety switch and thermal relief valve that will interrupt the optional low voltage circuit and shut down the pump/motor. This ensures that the pump is protected from overheating if there is water flow failure. This feature is very important for large systems to insure long, trouble free operation.
|
Bypass Configurations
An internal bypass configuration is fitted as standard. This allows the user immediate access to control the system pressure, making it extremely flexible in operation. On the larger models an external bypass is used allowing excess water to be returned to the suction side of the pump. Pressure control by the user is immediately available and flexible enough to allow accurate control over the system pressure.

Atomization Nozzles
TrueFog nozzles create a 10 micron fog droplet. Constructed of brass and stainless steel. In some instances an application may require a little more fog, we offer a nozzle with a 0.020" orifice that produces a 25 micron droplet. The standard nozzle with an 0.008" orifice puts out 0.022 G.P.M. @ 800 PSI (0.084 LPM @ 56 Bar). The 0.020" nozzle displaces 0.065 G.P.M. @ 800 PSI. (0.25 LPM USA 56 Bar). To prevent water damage due to dripping after shut down, all nozzles feature anti-drip check valves. Atomization lines are built to customer specifications.
|
Drain Valves
To enable the fog lines to drain as fast as possible to alleviate standing water or dripping, a drain valve is fitted at the low point in the fog lines. When pressure is relieved in the line, the valve spring opens allowing the water to drain. This valve can also be used as an air bleed valve in long line lengths where water hammer could be a problem and also as freeze protection during the winter months.
|
Filtration
The TrueFog nozzle requires clean water. TrueFog systems
all have complete filtration systems to help ensure proper performance. Filter components rated at 5 Microns are installed prior to the pump/motor unit. Optional pressure gauges are mounted on the inlet and outlet side of the filter unit. Excessive differences in pressure will indicate that the filters are due for changing or cleaning.
|
Control Features
A wide range of control equipment is available from TrueFog, to give the user complete control over the system. Electronic humidity and temperature controls allow the user to dictate how the system will respond in certain situations. Specialty controllers to monitor wind, rain or light levels are used in certain industrial situations. Climate Control computers are used in many greenhouse and industrial applications.

TrueFlex
hose
Pressurized water is distributed to the atomization/fog lines through a flexible hose of durable construction, consisting of a nylon inner core with dual synthetic fiber wraps. The outer cover has a UV resistant polyurethane outer skin, this allows installation in direct sunlight without any fear of deterioration.
|
High Pressure Fog Line
Flexible atomization hose is custom designed and preassembled to meet your exact specifications. Flexible fog line is suspended and attached to 1/16 inch stainless steel cable. Isolation valves in each fog line enables the operator to control the fog level for seasonal conditions.
|
Stainless Steel Fog Line
Our most popular selling fog line and, the standard of the industry is our 304 or 316 grade stainless steel atomization line. Custom made to meet the particular needs of each application. This product has been in service for more than two decades and is a proven performer, built to out last all others. Stainless Steel fog line is available in a variety of standard sizes, including
12, 18, 24, 30, 40,and 48 inch on center.
|
Nozzle Extenders
When it is necessary to direct the spray pattern around or away from an obstruction, the nozzle extender kit is a simple solution. The extender kit is also popular for applications that require special effects, or such as fog emanating from trees or around a garden trellis.
